Acqualagna Tartufi at 83° Venice International Film Festival

There are occasions when a product tells much more about its gastronomic history. During the 83° Venice International Film Festival, we participated in the prestigious “Grand Gala of Celebrities”, bringing to the lagoon city one of the most representative excellences of our territory: truffles.

It was an evening that brought together cinema, television, culture, haute cuisine, and entrepreneurship, with the presence of numerous protagonists from the entertainment world, including Cecilia Capriotti, Eva Henger, Adriana Volpe, Patrizia Pellegrino, Attilio Romita, Miriana Trevisan, Antonella Fiordelisi, and Artem Tkachuk.

For us it wasn’t just a social evening. Above all, it was an extraordinary opportunity to tell the story of Acqualagna through its iconic product, bringing the name of our region to one of the most important international contexts dedicated to cinema.

Among the dishes offered inside the “Gran Gala delle Celebrità”, the scent of our truffle accompanied the delicacy of the tuna Carpaccio seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, black pepper and mint. It was then paired with the Gnocchi with Blue Crab, bringing together the tradition of fresh pasta and an ingredient strongly linked to contemporary cuisine.

Two very different dishes, but united by the ability to leave the truffle as the protagonist. And this is precisely one of the characteristics we like to tell about our product: the Acqualagna truffle knows how to dialogue with different cuisines, ingredients far from tradition and contemporary interpretations, without losing its own identity.

For one night, the truffles of Acqualagna enchanted the magical world of cinema.
