“Calciomercato L’originale”: the great success of the Sky Sport broadcast at Acqualagna

Led by Alessandro Bonan, Fayna and Gianluca Di Marzio, the program “Calciomercato l’Originale” has become one of the top programs of Sky Sport during our summers, starting just three years ago from the city of Fano and from an idea of Corrado Moscelli, owner of Comunica Media Agency. A perfect combination of sport, music, entertainment and folk tale that travels throughout Italy mixing the market negotiations with the excellent food and wine, traditions and landscapes of many cities on the Italian coast.

This week the television program is taking place live from the open-air lounge of the former church of San Francesco in Fano, involving the city and its inhabitants in every aspect, creating a unique and incredible synergy that promotes its territory throughout Italy. The careful direction this year has not failed to point the spotlight on the hinterland of Pesaro, in particular on the truffle capital Acqualagna.

Yesterday, 8 July, this small country turned into a real television location with a dense program of filming that went to compose the evening postcard: from the fun truffle search in the woods of the Apennines to the suggestive nature reserve of the Gola del Furlo to a visit to the Acqualagna Tartufi factory where you select, clean and transform the truffle into various local specialties. The main protagonists including Alessandro Bonan, Giuseppe Bergomi, Fayna, Luca Marchetti, Massimo Marianella and Michele Padovano then concluded this intense morning in the well-known restaurant Braceria Plinc by Piergiorgio Marini, where they were able to taste various delicacies and truffle specialties prepared by chef Roberto Faccendini, including the golden egg with truffle, cooked at low temperature, breaded and fried, served on a bed of Parmesan fondue with kataifi pasta and flakes of black summer truffle.

Giuseppe Bergomi was very enthusiastic about the search for truffles, chatting several times with a local historical truffle miner Giorgio Remedia who has been able to tell and show the secrets of this local tradition, which has become UNESCO intangible cultural heritage for a few years.

Emanuela Bartolucci, owner of Acqualagna Tartufi: “I was very impressed by the curiosity of these well-known journalists and opinion leaders who have shown a real interest in this gastronomic excellence of our territory. In particular, I was amazed by the enthusiasm of Bonan, Bergomi and Fayna in having found so many truffles in our woods, they made a real competition to find more: at Alba say that they have not had such a rich and exciting experience”.

In the evening at 11 pm Gianluca Di Marzio went then in connection from the Truffle Museum in Piazza Mattei in Acqualagna bringing its market anticipations inside the transmission that took place in Fano. Many associations, sports clubs of Acqualagna took place for the occasion together with the Mayor Pierluigi Grassi and Emanuela Bartolucci, CEO of Acqualagna Tartufi.

“An important day for Acqualagna – comments the Mayor Grassi – The journalists of Calciomercato The original have spent the day among the beauties of our Furlo, truffle search at one of our truffle, and a tasting of delicious truffle dishes at the Braceria Plinc. An event fruit of a beautiful cooperation between the Municipality and the company Acqualagna Tartufi. In particular, the presence of Giuseppe Bergomi, the Uncle for the interists, was an opportunity to discover his great passion for truffle research and tasting. We hope to be able to involve guests of this caliber also for the next 60 International Fair of the White Truffle of Acqualagna that will take place in the first four weekends of November”.
